  • Learning experiences should be planned in two parts: 1. Student activities and 2. Aligned Teaching strategies.
  • Overview: Some operate as an overview, focusing on ensuring the whole process of planning incorporates important principles;Process: Some operate at the unit planning level to ensure planning for teaching is sequenced;Teaching Delivery: Some operate at the Learning Experience and student activity level in order to ensure the appropriate selection of teaching strategies.
  • Look for the three components from the 5 Elements model – curriculum, assessment and pedagogy.
  • Look for any of the information about alignment and sequenceLook for any of the information about ICTsUse the Backwards Design model to help you organise the information into the categories for Context and Stages 1-3.
