    • David Hasegawa
    • Started school in 1964 at Liholiho Elementary School in Kaimuki.
    • Graduated from Kaimuki High School in 1977.
    • University of Hawaii at Manoa, B.A. in Speech, 1987.
    • When I finish my degree, I hope to become a secondary Social Studies teacher in Hawaii’s public school system.
  • 3. Educational Technology
    • Teaches us to appropriately use, create, and manage technological processes and resources, which brings opportunities for meaningful “real world” learning.

    • Electric typewriter (with
    • correction tape; no white-out
    • necessary),
    • Overhead projectors,
    • and
    • 8-Track tape players in our cool cars
  • 7. College Technology
    • PC’s with floppy discs
    and My Nintendo Entertainment System (father of Sony PlayStation and X Box)
  • 8. My vivid technology learning experience
    • Coming back to college
    • and being introduced to
    • the ELMO projector in
    • class.
    • ( I was blown away, YouTube in
    • class… amazing.)
  • 9. A technology I want to use in my classroom
    • I would love to use the site mypals.com, a site that creates a global community of connected classrooms filled with projects and forums for students to communicate, collaborate, and learn from one another.
  • 10. My vision of the classroom of the future A classroom with Smart Boards and laptops for all.
