The home keys When you are ready to type, your fingers should rest on the home keys.
The left pinky is on the ‘A’.
The right pinky is on the ‘:’.
The left ring finger is on the ‘S’.
The right ring finger is on the ‘L’.
The left middle finger is on the ‘D’.
The right middle finger is on the ‘K’.
The left index finger is on the ‘F’.
The right index finger is on the ‘J’.
The thumbs are on the space bar.
