  • 2. I’m worried. I have a typing test and I don’t know where to start!!! That’s easy. You need to start by learning the home keys.
  • 3. What are the home keys? Let me explain…
  • 4. The home keys When you are ready to type, your fingers should rest on the home keys.
  • 5. The left pinky is on the ‘A’.
  • 6. The right pinky is on the ‘:’.
  • 7. The left ring finger is on the ‘S’.
  • 8. The right ring finger is on the ‘L’.
  • 9. The left middle finger is on the ‘D’.
  • 10. The right middle finger is on the ‘K’.
  • 11. The left index finger is on the ‘F’.
  • 12. The right index finger is on the ‘J’.
  • 13. The thumbs are on the space bar.
