Exports, Jobs, & You<br />The economic advantage of a weaker U.S. dollar is that the cost of U.S. goods abroad drops versus competition.<br />Smart U.S. companies are seizing this opportunity to drive export sales.<br />Exports were up +21% in 2010, and through the first quarter of 2011 they are up another +18%!<br /> At this pace, exports will exceed $1.4 trillion, easily surpassing the previous record year of 2008.<br />All this export growth is driving JOB GROWTH in the U.S. which is making Washington hesitant to enact measures that could strengthen the U.S. dollar.
