  • @davidberkowitz does it again !!

Slide # 5, with the ironies was so fun to read...and so true. I think what's ironic as well is that I'm sure that most of those in attendance were not aware of those ironies !!

Thanks, this was not only entertaining but extremely informative and right on-point. That, mi estimado amigo, is not easy to do.....

  • @vdelarosa yes, and I think most people are fairly conflicted about how much they want to share versus how much they want to lock down. We'll be spending decades more figuring this out.

  • @cfpresos thanks, Chick! Great seeing you out there. The one thing I love about creating these decks is it forces me to catch up on all the things I missed out there.

  • Nice round-up, David. The balance between privacy and utility is a fascinating one especially as consumers contradict themselves (wary of NSA surveillance yet voraciously share their innermost desires on Pinterest). We say we want one thing yet our actions tell another story.

  • Thanks David! Great round up. I still wander the 'back alleys' of SXSW and actually missed a lot of this! It's still an interesting place to meet some of the fringe participants of internet culture.

    • Brands are the new startups “Once upon a time, long, long ago, SXSW was the place you'd visit to experience cool, new startup technology…. While there are still startups at SXSW and that remains a big reason brands attend, this year it was mostly big brands sharing tech wizardry.” - Steve Hall, Adrants
