Glass & wearable technology is changing the landscape of how users consume and create value. It will not only enhance the customer experience, it will disrupt status quo creating entirely new categories of experience. Heads Up was created to serve as a nexus for the revolution, bringing together people, technology and the big challenges of our time to unlock the full potential of the wearable revolution.

    • What I have learned from using Glass so far…
    • #1 Its not just about the display
    • #2 most apps get turned off if they don’t resonate with a short term need.
    • #3 the screen is ordinarily off Old information on the timeline is DEAD
    • #4 sound is always on – we haven’t touched even 1% of the capability of augmented hearing
    • #5 video and photos are killer apps
    • #6 Maps (could be) a killer App and hints at bright future for travellers
    • #7 its easy to be more social
    • #8 it’s an early beta product • The screen out of the user field of view feels like its missing a trick, moveable display joint? • No ability to change depth of field, field adjustment! • It gets bogged down in some processes • Battery life is not great, less than a day
    • Primary task Seek the #MVUI Minimum viable User Interface Treat it as if it were a matter of life and death Do not interrupt carelessly Secondary Task Add direct and clear value to the Primary Task
    • Things to do now… Send me feedback or questions via twitter @daveslocombe Sign up for our Dev Days and conference: www.HeadsUpVentures.com Thanks! Just now
