Social Media Questionnaire 1. What are 1-2 goals that you would like to accomplish with social media? Determining your goals will help you measure your success and ROI. • Do you want to generate more exposure? • Raise brand awareness for your organization? • Improve traffic and subscribers? • Generate qualified leads? • Improve sales? 2. Who is your audience/demographic? Who are you trying to reach with social media? Why are you trying to reach them? 3. Who will be managing your social media? Will you or a member of your team/ department be tasked with managing your social media strategy. When delegating to another person, be sure to select someone who is passionate about your company’s vision, is diplomatic when dealing with conflict, and is web savvy. 4. How much time will you dedicate to social media? Allocate time each day to engage others. The more successful your social effort becomes, the more time will need to be dedicated. Always try to be available to respond to your audience directly after posting. 5. Do you see social media as a short term step, or long term strategy? Where a social media strategy can immediately start raising awareness of your brand, it is not an overnight process. For social media to be successful, it needs to be incorporated into your overall marketing efforts. It’s very much an investment, that will yield returns over a period of time.
