Dave Cortright commented on THIRST Nice job, but you missed the fact that growing livestock for food is a much larger consumer of water than anything in the home. It takes 2500 gallons of water to produce one pound of meat. http://www.earthsave.org/newsletters/water.htm So take all the showers you want, flush you waste with clean water, water an English garden in central LA... do all of those things, and by giving up meat you’ll still come out ahead. 2 years ago
