  • Christmas Light Addition Program – 2013 ©• Corrugated plastic is usually madefrom polypropylene. Polypropylene iscoded 5 by the Society of thePlastics Industry. This means whenyou are done with it, it too can berecycled and not end up in thelandfill.
  • Christmas Light Addition Program – 2013 ©• In most cases, standard Coroplast plasticsheets are 100% recyclable. Weencourage the recycling of Coroplastplastic sheets. Due to the durability ofCoroplast it can often be reused. If theproduct is no longer usable we recommendremoving any non-polypropyleneaccessories if• applicable and recycling.

  • Christmas Light Addition Program – 2013 ©How to “glue” coroplasttogether…To glue coroplast using medium CA glue.Run the flame of a propane torch very quickly along the contact areaof coroplast parts. This is supposed to burn away the oils in the coroplast [lots of practicefor this] ----Then place little drops of CA about 1/8" apartand join parts.Dont glob the CA as this will not work.Small drops only.
  • Christmas Light Addition Program – 2013 ©http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__7173__HobbyKing_Super_Glue_CA_50g_1_7oz_b_Medium_b_.html• Some things to know about using CA glue…• Debonder• Quickly disolves all cyanoacrylate (CA) glues. Use to seperate joints (or fingers), or to removeunwanted CA glue.• Activator• When you need sure cures quicker, Activator sprays on and accelerates the cure time of any CAformula without reducing bond strength.
  • Christmas Light Addition Program – 2013 ©Coroplast can be painted• Krylon Fusion® Spray Paint for Plastics will provide a thin durablelayer.• Follow the manufactures directions for application of the spraypaint.• Brushes and rollers are not recommended for direct application ofpaints to Coroplast because the paint layer is too thick and caneasily peel and delaminate.• For art projects you may use brushed applicationof compatible paints on top of the "primer"/base layer of the Krylon Fusion® SprayPaint for Plastics.
