  • 2. X made headlines again in the 2001 Manchester derby, a game in which Alf-IngeHåland played. Five minutes from the final whistle, he was sent off for a blatant knee-high foul on the Norwegian in what was seen by many as an act of revenge. He initially received a three game suspension and a £5,000 fine from the FA, but further punishment was to follow after the release of X's autobiography in August 2002, in which he stated that he intended "to hurt" Håland. X’s account of the incident was as follows:
    I'd waited long enough. I fucking hit him hard. The ball was there (I think). Take that you cunt. And don't ever stand over me sneering about fake injuries.
  • 3. This is a football club based in the Parkhead area of Glasgow. The club was established in 1887, and played its first game in 1888. The club's official nickname is The Bhoys, the spelling of which denotes an Irish pronunciation, in reflection of the club's heritage. This club made history in the 1966-67 for a specific reason. The club is one of the five teams that has earned the right to keep the European Cup and to wear a multiple-winner badge; they won consecutively in 1971–1973. Xis popularly seen as having "Jewish roots", although not an official Jewish club. In 1928, the club logo was introduced with the head of the Greek hero _____. The logo was once again changed in 1990 into an abstract version of the previous one. The new logo still sports the portrait of ______, but drawn with just 11 lines, symbolizing the 11 players of a football team. X retired jersey no. 14 for one of the greatest footballer ever in 2007.
  • 6. Nicknamed "Il Trattore" (The Tractor), X is the most capped player for his country. On October 20, 2010, at 37 years and 71 days, Xbecame the oldest player to score in a UEFA Champion's League game when he scored a brilliant goal in the first minute of the game! He was also part of the team that won the silver medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, USA.
  • 7. Often nicknamed Boeren(farmers/peasants) in reference to their original provincial city origins, X have won the national league 21 times. In 1988, coached by GuusHiddink and with a team featuring players such as Ronald Koeman, Eric Gerets, SørenLerby and WimKieft, X won the European Cup for the first and so far only time in their history, beating Benfica on penalties after an 0–0 ended final.
