  • 1. The meaning of the many different customs observed duringEaster Sunday have been buried with time. Their origins liein both pre-Christian religions and Christianity. In one way or another all the customs are a "salute to spring" marking re-birth.
  • 2. Today, the meaning of Easter, for million of Christians, is that of honoring and recognizing Jesus Christsresurrection from the dead, and His glorious promises of eternal life for all who believe in Him.
