How to Legally Steal Other Peoples YouTube Traffic...
Did you know that you can legally and ethically swipe huge amounts of
highly targeted traffic from YouTube videos and even complete channels?
No? Then listen up. I’ll explain exactly how to do it and why this is now
possible. When you hear what I’m about to tell you… you’ll be as amazed as
I was, and I’m willing to bet you’ll hop over to YouTube before you even finish
reading this PDF…You won’t be able to help yourself! ;>)
What Nobody Else Will Tell You…
I write this from my own point of view, but I can imagine that many of you
reading this will feel exactly the same.
So let me ask you this: do you find it easy to make money online? I bet the
answer is an emphatic “no.” The fact is that while there are lots of ways to
make money online, most of the time applying those methods requires
significant time and money.
And if you’re anything like me you’ve probably tried this and tried that with
little to no success, chasing one “shiny object” after another.
Am I right?
OK, so we usually only get to hear about the obvious stuff that everyone talks
about: using SEO to build traffic, linking Facebook posts to affiliate pages,
and so forth. And the fact that everyone does it means…well it simply means
that it’s been done to death.
And in most cases that equates to more wasted time and wasted money.

5. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way…
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I found out that there are a number of
what certain people in the know call “Stealth methods.” These methods do
exist, but they remain hidden from most of us, because nobody talks about
them.
Two surprising things I’ve learned about these “stealth methods” are (1) some
of them are very, very easy, and (2) some of them make certain people a lot
of money.
So it makes sense that the people who know about these “stealth methods”
aren’t sharing their knowledge openly.
But I found one.
Here’s how it works
So, there are MILLIONS of videos on YouTube, right? And as I write this there
were probably another thousand or more added. To just overstate the
obvious, YouTube is huge, and people are uploading videos like there’s no
tomorrow.
But here’s the thing… while many people upload videos, not all them
actually stick with whatever they are doing, or monitor the traffic their videos
are getting. In fact, many don’t.
Example…
Imagine for a moment that you’ve set up a website based around a specific
niche. You put up a few videos and…nothing happens. No traction, no
ranking, no visitors, and most importantly, no sales.
Chances are you would dump the project, right?
You’d pull the plug, forget about the videos, let the domain expire, and
move on to something else. Well, you’re not alone…that’s what thousands of
would-be Internet marketers actually do every month.

6. Here’s the key…
The interesting takeaway behind this all-to-common departure from the
marketing battlefield is this: when you give up on a website and let that
domain expire, then the site and its Google rank vanishes… it’s gone.
But unless you manually log into YouTube and delete those videos linked to
your site (which hardly anyone does) the videos stay right where you left
them!
And, if the video initially had any horsepower at all, then the traffic and
popularity of that video continues to grow…not in every case, certainly, but
in plenty of cases, these “orphaned videos” are enjoying some pretty
significant traffic—and to no one’s benefit!
So what does that mean for you?
OK, so let’s assume you picked a keyword, and hopped on over to YouTube.
You found a bunch of videos that matched your keyword or related
keywords, and started combing through them looking for the golden nuggets
the channel owners left behind.
Here’s what you’ll need to do…
1. You need to look for videos with a demonstrated history of traffic
2. You check to see that a video still gets traffic… makes sense, right?
3. You check the video’s description and look for a link to a web site
4. Next, click that link to see if the site the video relates to is still active
5. If the link isn’t active, then there’s a very good chance you can actually
buy the domain.
And when you do purchase that domain, then you have effectively just
hijacked all the traffic that video gets…it’s yours in an instant!
… And no I’m not joking. Take a look at this mini-case study.

7. A Quick Case Study
Yeah, I’m actually showing this little case study of an actual “orphaned
video.” I don’t mind doing that because I’ve already found a ton of much
better ones, so I don’t really care if somebody grabs this one. (UPDATE: And
by the way, someone already did grab this domain, so no need to check.)
But what’s going on here? The case study screenshot shows a video for a
product called OxyHives. Someone put the video up with a link to a product
page at OxyHivesRelief.com. Then, for one reason or another, the marketer
let the domain lapse. But the video is still there, slowing accumulating views.

8. At the bottom of the case study screenshot you can see that, as I was putting
the case study together, the domain “oxyhivesrelief.com” had lapsed, and
was available for the princely sum of $0.99 (plus a couple of dollars in
registration fees shooting the price up to more like $3. But keep in mind that
that is $3 for a whole year of traffic!
Okay, So How Do You Make Money With This Strategy?
Well actually there are two ways to make money with these videos. Let me
explain.
Option 1
The first method, which is by far the easiest, is…
Forwarding the domain…
1. Buy the domain
2. Find an affiliate offer that relates to the video; sign up to become an
affiliate; get your affiliate link
3. Once you have your affiliate link go back to your registrar (the place
where you purchased your domain).
• Go to “manage domains” (or similar)
• Click on the domain you just purchased
• Look for where it says “forwarding” or “domain forwarding” (or similar)
and click there.
• Then under Domain (not sub domain) look for where it says ‘You are not
forwarding this domain. Add one now “…Click the link and drop in your
affiliate link. Then click “Add Forwarding.”
• That’s it…you’re done!
What happens next?
So now each and every time somebody visits that video and then clicks the
link in the description under the video, they are forwarded through the
domain you now own to the product you are promoting through your affiliate
link. If someone decides to purchase that product…you get a commission.

9. What could be easier? You now have a video on YouTube that you didn’t
spend time creating, and it’s driving traffic to the product you’re promoting.
I need to make it clear that you have not purchased the video. You don’t
have any control over the description, the comments, the tags anything!
What you DO have control over is the domain name, which you’ve just
purchased, which means you control where the traffic generated by that
video is routed. And obviously that’s going to be to your affiliate offer in the
process we’re following here.
How much traffic?
That would depend on each video… and the case study I showed above
wasn’t the best example of a video generating big traffic numbers. (I’m not
showing the best ones for what I hope are obvious reasons!)
But even with this example I could potentially refer, say, one sale per week.
How much can I make?
Okay, hypothetical: Let’s assume that the commission I get for referring a sale
to OxyHives is $27 (average)…then at one sale per week I could potentially
make $108 per month. And that’s $1,296.00 per year.
No, this isn’t ground breaking income. But remember, that’s $1296.00
generated off of a $3 investment, some time hunting up the orphaned video,
and the time to purchase the domain and request an affiliate link for a
product. Let’s say less than 2 hours total time invested…along with that
original $3 for the domain. There’s nothing else to do, no scripts or editing
videos…nothing.
How about $12,930 for a $30 investment?
Now let’s take a look at how this process scales in your Internet marketing
business. Let’s say you had $30 to invest in purchasing domains. Now you just
multiplied the whole process 10X…so a potential $12,930 a year for a $30
investment. That sounds much better, doesn’t it?
Do the math yourself….
What I’m doing with this process is simple, really. I plan to buy some domains,
make a few commissions and reinvest any proceeds and purchase some

10. more domains. My goal is to get to 100 domains within the next couple of
months with no more than $30 out of my own pocket for the initial 10 domain
purchases.
This little trick is great because, once you find the video with a lapsed
domain, purchase the domain, and forward it to your product, your work is
done. And that’s probably why this method has remained “Stealth,” as they
say.
Option 2
I said there were a couple of ways to use this method; the second goes like
this:
You buy the domain, and set up a website based on that niche. You curate
some content from around the web relating to that niche, and effectively
build an authority site where you can sell / promote products.
And this is neat because if you do this, the site gets instant traffic which gets
noticed by Google…and that means the site shows up in the search engine
results.
So you are not only getting traffic from the video, but also from organic
Google search results…it’s a Win, Win.
Plus you might find other videos relating to the first video whose traffic you
“hijacked,” so you could buy them as well and forward them all (as
described above) to your new website.
Hint: I should also mention that while searching for videos to use I actually
found complete channels with some videos having 100s of 1000s of views,
and yet the whole channel had been forgotten about, and the domain had
lapsed. Crazy — but true.
Excited? Hey, I told you this was pretty cool, didn’t I?

11. You can use either Option 1 or Option 2, which includes building out your
niche site. However, I’ve got to admit I’m somewhat lazy, plus I have a full-
time day job (so not too much spare time). So I’m sticking to the first option,
where I just forward the domain to an affiliate offer and collect the
commissions.
How I made this Even Easier
I love this method simply because it’s easy, cheap and it works. But there is a
little snag that I want to point out. You see, I want as many videos as possible
pointing to my affiliate offers—ideally 100-plus. Anything over 100 videos
pointing to my offers could make me a potential $100,000 per year, and that
really is my goal.
Now the snag here lies in the process of actually finding the videos with
expired domains, Sure, there thousands of them out there waiting…
And you can find them manually, as I’ve mentioned…
Recap:
1. You need to look for videos with traffic
2. Check to see the video still gets traffic
3. Find a link in the video description
4. Click that link to see if the site it relates to is still active
My “video exploration hack”
That process I just outlined above still takes time… so I started using a software
program called Vsource when I’m “prospecting” for these videos.
From 2 Hours to 2 Minutes
Essentially what Vsource does is automate all four of my prospecting steps in
just minutes. That means that what might have taken an hour or two now
takes only a minute or two.

12. Here’s my process now: I come home from work, fire up the software, drop in
a keyword, and click search. The results come back showing me all the stats
on the videos relating to the keyword I put in, which is helpful. But most
importantly, it shows me instantly which videos have those expired links.

14. I’m a little bit lazy
Pretty cool, right? And I’m just scraping the surface. The software actually has
an included plugin that you can drop into your WordPress site that will build
you a complete website from other people’s content and your affiliate link.
But like I said, I’m a little bit lazy, so for me it’s all about finding the domains
fast, buying them, and forwarding the purchased domains to my affiliate

CAN do it…it just takes a little while sometimes.
