The Singapore Flyer is a giant Ferris wheel constructed in 2005–2008. At a height of 165 m, it is the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. The Flyer has previously suffered 4 breakdowns. 2 of which were caused by inclement weather. As such, we need to adopt a CCP in case such a crisis occurs again. My proposal for a CCP would consist of 3 parts. Namely pre-crisis, crisis phase, post-crisis.
Abraham Lincoln former president of the united states "If I had eight hours to chop down a tree, I'd spend six sharpening my axe."Being Prepared. Pre-crisis phase involves ``creating plan``training designated team, and ``conducting drills to test both the plan and e team. This would allow e organisation to better react during a crisis.
“SAFETY FIRST” – Ensure the safety of the public , as well as employees. immediate medical attention renderedif necessary.``Use allcommunication channels to alert relevant Authorities. This can be achieved through the use of media (TV, radio) and mass notification systems such as mobile devices.
In the post-crisis phase, follow-up communication is required. ``provide updates on the progression of recovery efforts and investigations to stakeholders and public.Every crisis should be seen as a learning experience. The crisis managementefforts needs to be ``evaluated to see what is working and what needs improvement in order to not repeat our mistakes.
With regards to my proposal of a crisis communication plan, I leave you with 3 key points…``Prepare for the crisisReact to the crisisReflect aft e crisis
Thank you for your consideration in my proposal for the crisis communication plan. Are there any queries pertaining to my proposal which I would be able to clarify?
