    4. Phase 1
      • Benefits
        • Free content (paid mobile video service would require work by the service provider)
        • Watch same content on TV and mobile device
        • Not synchronized between TV and mobile, but searchable
      • Technical Details
        • Minimal integration, fastest time to implement
        • No direct service integration, but adds a path from existing VOD content store to the Vidiator encoders.
        • Then Vidiator systems run in parallel to IPTV systems
        • Optional Mobile Portal would provide EPG look and Feel, otherwise would use web browser to find and select content to view
        • No software modifications needed - it's just testing

        • EPG
      • Technical Details
        • Mobile Portal no longer optional
        • Add connection (bidirectional) between Subscriber Management System and Mobile Portal, to indicate what content is available
        • Add connection (bidirectional) for customer authentication between Verimatrix CAS system and Mobile Streamer
        • Mobile EPG integrates into IPTV Asset Management system
