Want to tell anything else about company? <ul><li>Yes </li></ul><ul><li>Previous work : R & D on Medical sector at GCC ( Gulf Co-operation Council) . </li></ul><ul><li>Expanding with good customer base </li></ul><ul><li>Venturing out for Venture Capitalists </li></ul><ul><li>Output oriented company </li></ul><ul><li>Not concerned about the way the employees wants to operate ( work from home or office) </li></ul><ul><li>In future wants to compete with Big Big Consulting firms and make a mark !! </li></ul>
  4. 4. 1.The Project with which I started my Work  1.A The first project: mVAS Database <ul><li>Objective : To develop global report of applications, application developers, strategic alliances etc in the form of database of Mobile VAS ( Value Added Services ) players. </li></ul><ul><li>Why this project? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>mVAS is a hugely growing all over the world </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>ARPU is high when compared to average user of cell phones </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Companies venturing out heavily like never before. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Future is bright </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Global players emerging and making strategic alliances from all over the world </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Innovation lead Industry segment. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>So that it will help the players to search for players across globe, make strategic alliances, give them idea of the next level innovations happening through this report. </li></ul></ul>

  6. 6. <ul><li>Problems in the Project: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Data being not available </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Difficulty in categorizing the players </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Language Problems with sites </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Work was exhausting – Working in isolation -only sitting and working on computers !! </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Average per day slowing down – Motivation factors </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Solutions thought and applied: </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- Using Google Translate for Language Problems </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- Skip the companies as soon as possible if you think irrelevant. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- Tried to put idea of team work in front of BOSS to gain some motivation. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- Hired another Intern from IWSB to speed up the job. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Solved the Problem after this?? </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>No . A week later got a new client . Jumped to new project !!  </li></ul></ul>
  7. 7. 1.B Second Project  Client in hand is important than future objectives <ul><li>What’s the new Project ?? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Client is a healthcare consulting firm in USA </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Project called SYNAGIS Payer Policy Audit </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Complete online Research and data findings </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Received all the guidelines from the clients </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>What was the exact work?? </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- To find SYNAGIS Payor policies </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- For 118 Payors from USA with success rate expectation of 70% and above </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- Format assigned for this project too. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- NO data collection other than Internet- Total Internet Research </li></ul></ul>

  9. 9. <ul><li>The approach: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>7 people working on this , 3 full time, 4 part time </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>2 week project </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Divided the work – Everyday progress check – Collaborating the work at the end of the day </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The final output: </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- 83.8 % success rate in finding the data </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- Excel collaborated, sources defined, folders made for each company with pdf files of Payor policies </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>--99 slides made according to the data found </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- Final Notes on the project sent to client with success rate and data outstanding and some key findings during the project about SYNAGIS and Payor policies. </li></ul></ul>
  10. 10. 1.C The Third project  You never know who will be your next big client!! <ul><li>What’s the Project?? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Medical Organization alignment within emerging markets of a giant pharma firm </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We need to address the issues put forth by the client </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>A little bit more about the project before we go into detail… </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- This is totally consulting base project. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- I really had less to deal into problems and the solutions handling w.r.t the project </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- We were involved as such to help BOSS being a helping hand in data handling in excel and PPT making through transposing the data from Excel </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- Solely responsible for the work given on hand to date. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>-- Work was to divide the work and collaborate with each other and then send the final output of updated excel and PPT at the end of the day. </li></ul></ul>
  11. 11. <ul><li>Approach by Company: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>They had calls with the client </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Then made a proposal for the client </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>In the proposal mentioned the process they will follow and the deliverables from the companies side </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Given them a brief about the phases with which the work will be carried </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Given them brief about the Organization Structuring and Quantitative Analysis which will be carried </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>At the end work started with the consent of the client with written policies </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>A true consulting experience for us !! </li></ul></ul>

Learning's  <ul><li>A first hand experience towards consulting business. </li></ul><ul><li>Seen a true start up experience !! </li></ul><ul><li>Things are fun when you love what you do </li></ul><ul><li>A more enhanced knowledge of Excel and PPT ( I can assure that ) </li></ul><ul><li>Understood that Working on Excel, PowerPoint is no less a job of Manager. </li></ul><ul><li>Suggestions : If any body wants to aspire to work with consultancies than he must be perfect with Excel and PPT skills and should be good at data analysis. </li></ul>
