Schoology
This is a website based on social networks. It helps bridge the gap between sites such as facebook, twitter, etc to help improve communication and collobration.

Tango
Tango is website similar to that of SKYPE. It could help with student, teacher, and parent communication by allowing you to have face to face conversations without actually being in the same room. This could take the place of conferences when there just isn't enough time to meet in person.
