Your logo here Multimodal Journey Planner : Impact • Creating the “informed” traveller across unexpected conditions and trip changes is the major impact envisaged • Linking local transport means with international rail/airline/ferry trip is a means to promote public, local and environment friendly transports • WISETRIP service links many Journey Planning Systems and real-time data providers, and brings them to the service of the international traveller. The travel agent becomes travel consultant enabled by ICT & rich eContent. In this context the distribution and promotion of reliable knowledge data about natural and cultural resources of a destination is of major importance for tourism professionals, clients and destinations.Crete is a region that accommodates the needs of variant touristinterest, hiding a high potential for alternative modes of tourism and such projects can become pilots for the future.
