2. So where did this all start?
• The idea of #FasterClass came originally out of an idea – called
Manchester Marketing Mentors.
• Justaxi wanted to help Manchester start ups meet the right marketing
people so they could benefit from their wisdom.
• We ran this from March 2014 and from this was born….
• Something bigger.
3. We helped mentees meet mentors…
• Justaxi wanted to do
something. Not just talk.
• So they put money behind it –
they sponsored people to meet
people. They arrange it. They
made it happen.
• It went very well. They got some
great names behind it including
Garry Partington, Phil Jones,
Simon Calderdale and even Chris
Marsh (and James Welch)
• And me Dan Sodergren.

• My main mission is around mobile.
• But as a marketing man – my job is increasing a brand’s ROI.
• With Justaxi – we have done this in a number of ways.
• 1. We have cut down their CPA by over 85% on traditional marketing.
• 2. We have cut down their CPA by over 40% on digital marketing.
• 3. We have increased their numbers of bookings by 800% in March.
• 4. We have increased their Twitter following by more than 100%.
• 5. We have increased their Facebook following by more than 150%.

• Three things:
• 1. Timing is Everything / Everywhere.
• 2. Agile as 'standard' / EMM.
• 3. Location as a culture / Deep.
