  2. 2. Class Rules <ul><li>Don’t be PASSIVE but be ACTIVE and PARTICIPATIVE: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Speak your mind! Your opinion, agree/disagree, knowledge etc </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Read a lot! Know the latest trends in Marketing, Social Culture etc . </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Don’t be LATE! You will be marked as absence if you come later than 07.15! </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t be a COPYCAT or PLAGIAT! Or you’ll be expelled from class at your cost and you will get an “E” </li></ul>

Buy original text book, and ask for original copy of statistical software at Atma Computers Lab. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>You will need the text book and statistical software to do your Thesis </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The latest 6E text book will be used in the next 2 years . </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Don’t be unprepared! You should read the chapter before you come in  or all of you will take a QUIZ time. </li></ul>

Class Rules <ul><li>Everyone should be active and contributing in GROUP ASSIGNMENT! </li></ul><ul><ul><li>If any of the team member does not contribute anything, don’t list his/her name on the final project report! Don’t compensate this kind of person! Enlisting him/her on the final report will only giving him/her a credit which he/she doesn’t worth it. – Remember your final group score will be distributed equally among the group members. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Final Score is absolute! </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Nothing can change the final score! No matter what! Your effort in group assignment + UTS + UAS is determining your final score. </li></ul></ul>
  5. 5. Group Assignment (1) <ul><li>Form groups which consist of minimum 6-7 people in one group, to perform 2 assignments: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>1. Chapter Presentations  Each group will present one or two chapters, as scheduled – check SAP (syllabus). </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>For the schedule, please read SAP (syllabus) for further detail timeline. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>The Chapter presentation should be prepared appropriately. It’s unacceptable to see unprepared presentation; technical (unseen fonts color, lack of material, or non-technical </li></ul></ul></ul>
  6. 6. Group Assignment (2) <ul><li>Form groups which consist of minimum 6-7 people in one group, to perform 2 assignments: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>2 . Market Research Projects  Each group will conduct a step by step Market Research project and then present the result at one of the last two sessions </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>For the schedule, please read SAP (syllabus) for further detail timeline. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>The Market Research Project should be based on a scientific market research journal (search it at AtmaLib or whatever), and adapting it into local practice  Tips: make it simpler and you may conduct the market research among UAJ students. </li></ul></ul></ul>

Ketua Kelas & Wakil Ketua Kelas Election <ul><li>Ketua Kelas & Wakil Ketua Kelas will get privileges; get noticed, get credits (2% in advance), direct access to the lecturer </li></ul><ul><li>Job desc: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Collecting and maintaining students database; emails, cell phone numbers, and group list </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Forming 6 groups and managing those groups to be prepared for the scheduled assignments </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Assisting Lecturer for ISO management; completing BAP, checking attendance, dll </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>As the main contact for any further announcement on; class cancelation, assignment, Lab classroom, etc </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Coordinating and maintaining the class’ facilities: schedules, equipment's, computer, projector, etc </li></ul></ul>
