1,3 - I the Preacher was king over Israel in Jerusalem
1,4 – That which is crooked cannot be made straight
1,5 – For in much wisdom is much grief
1,6 – I saw that wisdom excels folly, as far as light excels darkness
2,1 – And how does a wise man die? As the fool!
2,2 – To everything there is a season
2,3 – A time for every purpose under heaven:
2,4 - A time to be born, And a time to die;
2,5 - A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;
2,6 - A time to kill, And a time to heal;
3,1 - A time to break down, And a time to build up;
3,2 - A time to weep, And a time to laugh;
3,3 - A time to mourn, And a time to dance;
3,4 - A time to cast away stones,
3,5 - A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
3,6 - A time to gain, And a time to lose;
4,1 - A time to keep, And a time to throw away;
4,2 - A time to tear, And a time to sew;
4,3 - A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;
4,4 - A time to love, And a time to hate;
4,5 - A time of war, And a time of peace.
4,6 - I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever.
5,1 - God shall judge the righteous and the wicked
5,2 - Nor is his eye satisfied with riches
5,3 - Two are better than one
5,4 - For if they fall, one will lift up his companion
5,5 - if two lie down together, they will keep warm
5,6 - But how can one be warm alone?
6,1 - And a threefold cord is not quickly broken
6,2 - Better a poor and wise youth than an old and foolish king
6,3 – He who digs a pit will fall into it,
6,4 – Cast your bread upon the waters
6,5 - Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth
6,6 - much study is wearisome to the flesh
