  • 2. Is a grasshopper a warm-blooded or cold-blooded creature? A grasshopper is an insect. All insects are cold-blooded creatures, like fish and reptiles.
  • 3. Can this grasshopper fly? Yes, it can. This grasshopper can jump and fly
  • 4. What do grasshoppers eat? Grasshoppers favourite foods are grasses, leaves and cereal crops.
  • 5. How many species of grasshoppers are there? There are about 18,000 different species of grasshoppers!
  • 6. grasshopper What are these? They are antennae. There are grasshoppers with long antennae and grasshoppers with short antennae.
  • 7. A grasshopper Two big compound eyes (But inside there are many small miniature eyes)
  • 8. Let’s talk about … numbers! Its body, like every insect, has 3 parts And ... 6…..what?? Head,, thorax, and abdomen
