  • 2. Biography• Born February 8th, 1902.• Visionary figure in nature photography.• Known for his signature black and white photographs.• Working in Yosemite helped him realize his appreciation for nature.• Passed away on April 22nd, 1984, at age of 82.
  • 3. Adams Influence?• Paul strand was Adams greatest influence.
  • 4. Ansel; an inspiration• Ansel was a very liked photographer, a favorite of most.• “These” He said. “are some of the finest photographs I have seen” –Stiegliz• People looked up to him, found what he did to be amazing and loved his work with every bit of their body.
  • 5. Importance• Adams photographs are well recognized for the black-and-white shots.• His photos inspire an appreciation for natural beauty.• In 1980 Adams got the Presidential Medal of Freedom, for his efforts to capture and savor the pictures of nature in it’s best of times.
