3. lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Inspirations Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989) Two seemingly dumb teens struggle to prepare a historical presentation with the help of a time machine. This great film inspired us to make our time travel adventure film to have some humour as it keeps younger viewers interested, as it certainly entertained us as children. Back to the Future (1985) In 1985, Doc Brown invents time travel; in 1955, Marty McFly accidentally prevents his parents from meeting, putting his own existence at stake. This legendary movie is a classic. For us it will always be one of the first movies we think of when we hear, ‘time travel’. Its a great adventure for everyone, not being particularly aimed at a certain target audiences, it pleases people of all ages and gender.
4. lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Inspirations Hot Tub Time Machine (2010) Four guy friends, all of them bored with their adult lives, travel back to their respective 80s heydays thanks to a time-bending hot tub. This movie hit the cinemas in 2010 and managed to bring something new to the time travel film genre . It has fresh , laugh out loud, humour, with funny and interesting characters The Breakfast Club (1985) Five high school students, all different stereotypes, meet in detention, where they pour their hearts out to each other, and discover how they have a lot more in common than they thought. This film is amazing and shows how stereotypes, all though completely different from one another can mix and bond the greatest of friendships.
5. We wanted our first shot to be set in a history class, as the subject is all about dates and different events in time and would fit our genre of time travel very well. We chose the cleaners cupboard opposite the vending machines as our main star of the show, the time machine. We believed this to be a mysterious place within the school where no one really knows about and could be become an icon just like the ‘Back to the Future’ time machine in the form of a DeLorean or the Police box or, Tardis, in ‘Doctor Who’ . Other settings we were planning on using for our film was the school playground to capture shots from other areas of a modern school environment, including corridors and hall ways. Settings
6. Theme Here are some font design we found and created using our chosen title – ‘Dude, when are we?’ This title sequence will most likely be used in our video at the very end, after the characters take their walk to get away from their present life..

8. We selected some actors from our group of friends who we thought would be suitable to play certain characters. We then selected some Year 7 actors to play the same characters at a younger age. We chose four boys who we thought could play the same four characters, at a younger age. We have planned to film our first shot in a year 7 lesson. We arranged the classroom of students to come to school prepared and equipped with their own clothes so we can shoot the scene. We wanted them in their own clothes so it would be easier to identify each of their personalities – One being the nerd, the athlete, the wimp and the normal guy. So when you see their older parts later on in the film, they will be recognisable as the same characters. We have also arranged to film the classroom of students with a teacher, who has a free period at the time, and will pretend to teach the class a lesson while we record the classroom scene. Cast
