Inference on the Semantic Web[slide 4] Actually I’d suggest we’re trying to make people smarter, as much as machines. But this might be an unfashionable view :)1 month ago

Spread the Web Opentech 2009Did anything come out of this? I’ve become quite interested in trying to find a way to bridge the skills of people I know in the Web standards scene (SemWeb, RDF, etc) with practical needs of various nonprofit groups (human rights etc.). Is there a mailing list / wiki /etc for bouncing around ideas?2 months ago

A Social Semantic BBC?Ah, this is just great. Fab presentation and the work behind it is great stuff too.
One tiny quibble-ette: re "newer stuff", also I think these are perfect technologies for finding older content too, as the BBC’d archived treasures find their way eventually into the Web, for people to explore the archives together. And of course your example queries hint at this too. "Technologies shown on Tommorrow’s World in the 80’s, where are they now...?" etc.
BTW I’ve just posted some sketchy slides on Lonclass investigations in the NoTube project, which I think connect up nicely with what you’re doing....
