How To Take Back The Rest Of The Year - Presentation Transcript

    1. How To Take New Strides To Achieving Your Fitness Goals… For The Rest Of The Year. 3 Tips To Help Get Things Back On Track.
    2. Big Fitness Time of Year .
      • Besides January… September is the biggest fitness month. So rev yourself up now!
      • Four months to really set your fitness tone
      • Four months to set new goals or hit old ones.
      • Fall and Winter provide more time to devote to working out. Darker earlier so you can easily get a workout in.
      • Build the habit now for the New Year.
    3. Re-evaluate Fitness Goals.
      • Take a look at what you wanted to accomplish when this year started. How good did you do?
      • Find the places where you either failed or had trouble performing. Write these down.
      • Find the places where you succeeded and find out why and how you did that. Definitely write these down!
      • Create new goals… but don’t set small ones. Big Goals Attract Big Action!
      • Make these new goals DUE by the New Year.
    4. Forget The New Year
      • Don’t make anymore New Years resolutions.
      • Go Big Now!
      • Through your life into a new cycle.
      • The Logic… if you can hit some of your fitness goals by the New Year, you are already going to be in the habit of success. So you don’t have to fail another New Years Resolution like everybody else.
    5. Go Big Now!
      • Go big while you are going into the fall and winter.
      • Use what I think are extra hours in the day to get things done.
      • Start to really build that habit of working out now.
      • Achieve your goal before New Years even shows itself.
      • Find a group to join and help you stay accountable.
      • Get your family or spouse involved.
      • Let fitness help you with your self improvement.
      • Find programs that are capable of achieving the results you want.
    6. Educate Yourself
      • Start to learn about what you want to accomplish.
      • Learning about your body can motivate you to succeed.
      • You will personally debunk many of the myths that you once thought where true.
        • Straight cardio is a waste of time
        • Hour long workouts are also a waste of time
        • Split routines are not helping you
      • You will become faster during your workout. Meaning you will do only what produces results.
      • Also this helps you to learn to love reshaping your life.
    7. Education Motivates
      • Learn the proper exercise you need to do.
        • What free weight exercises burn the most calories
        • What machines are killing your joints
        • What free weight exercises are not showing you any results
      • Eventually help others around you.
        • Share you knowledge. That really helps you stay motivated. You will become the role model.
    8. Create Competition… Friendly!
      • I don’t like workout partners because they can slow you down and keep you from your workout.
      • BUT… find somebody and work off each other to see who can achieve specific results first.
      • Meet once a week with your tracking sheets to compare and find ways to improve.
      • OR… join a membership of like minded people. You can talk with many people and find friends you would otherwise not be able to find.
    9. Be Consistent: Give It A Try!
      • I know it is hard, but you have to give it a try… start with just one month.
      • 3 days a week for a maximum of 3 hours a week. (You can easily do less than that)
      • It really does help to track your results. When you track them… you naturally want to beat them and keep things going.
      • 21 days of consistency is supposed to create a new habit. So push for that.
      • When you see consistent action you will GUARANTEED see consistent results.
      • Set monthly, weekly, daily, goals to help you keep consistent.
    10. Let’s Wrap This Up…
      • 1. Go Big Now - make this your New Year and get motivated to get ripped.
      • 2. Get Competitive - find a friend, a significant other, or a group to help push you.
      • 3. Be Consistent - create a habit of your new fitness lifestyle. Nothing new is fun to do at first… just create that habit and you won’t know the difference.
