When organization migrates mail from Domino to Exchange
When legacy Domino Applications remain during and after mail migration until application migration strategy is developed and executed.
When Notes Clients are retained on end-user workstations for access to legacy Domino Applications.
When legacy Domino Applications send e-mails to migrated Exchange users with custom elements requiring Notes Client to process (buttons, actions, certain hot spots)
When legacy Domino Applications interface with Domino mail files to initiate mail actions or store mail or calendar.

CMT for Coexistence with ZAppHow does it work?
When an e-mail containing a Notes-specific element is sent by a legacy Domino Application to a migrated Exchange user, ZApp component of CMT for Coexistence will recognize and intercept the e-mail.
E-mail is stored securely in the transitional Domino Database on Coexistence Domino Server (BTStore)
E-mail notification containing a link to the stored e-mail is sent to the Exchange user.
When Exchange user clicks on the link, Notes Client is launched and the e-mail stored in BTStore is opened.

CMT for Coexistence with ZAppHow does it work?
When a legacy Domino Application needs to interface with the mail file for a migrated Exchange user, a special replacement Domino Database is used for multiple migrated users instead of the Domino mail file (BTProxy).
Legacy Domino Application activity triggers appropriate action in BTProxy, which results in mail or calendar data being forwarded to the new Exchange mailboxes.
Deployment topology for BTStore and BTProxy is coordinated with the Domino Administration staff.
