    • Dig deeper into your topic:
    • Brainstorm keywords (thesaurus, encyclopedia)
      • Who: gender, ethnicity, economic status, etc.
      • Where: city, state, country, region
      • When: current and or historical?
      • What / How: legal, social, economic, cultural, psychological, etc.
  • 5. Search
    • AND : combine different keywords
    • teenagers and suicide
    • OR : combine synonyms or related terms
    • teenagers or youth or adolescents
    • Double Quotes : for phrases of 2+ words
    • “ drug abuse ” and teenagers
    • Parentheses : used to group synonyms
    • “ drug abuse” and ( teenagers or adolescents )

    • Why evaluate?
    • Keep out "rats" (bad, inaccurate, or biased info)
    • Use a Rat TRAP!
