Dan - thanks for comments on Social Enterprise Search. No intenton to 'steal' IP and despite comment, this does not make up bulk of presentation. However, I will ensure due accreditation to Knowledgehero is provided on last slide.  
 
In answer to your question, we used Exalead API to integrate with bespoke Community of Practice platform, developed  on J2EE on IBM Webspehere. Hope this helps.
