Jucu is a small resort, still quiet, located 15 kilometers from the center. It is a old village of fishermen. It still having the character of small village. It is near to the river Jucu. The place has several beaches, frequented by the surfers and by anyone that loves beaches. Surf championships, some of them of national level, take place in the city. In spite of that, during most of the time, the place is calm, and the beaches are sought by who wants peace.
<ul><li>The bridge of Madalena allows the access to the Ecological Reserve of Jacaranema, occupying an area exceeding 1 million m2, Its a preservation area, which saves a rich diversity of native vegetation of Espirito Santo. They play a rhythm called "rocongo", which is a mix of rock and congo. Congo is a rhythm played with drum, ataba, reco-reco. </li></ul>
It is worthwhile to go for a walk by the trails around Morro da Concha (Hill of the Shell). It is very good.
It was Built in 1870, It is in the end of Praia da Costa Beach. It measures 12 meters of height, with 9 meters of base. Its light is produced by a lamp 3000watts, and it reaches 17 miles. Santa Luzia Lighthouse
Rail Museum The old station Pedro Nolasco, it was built in 1927, brings together a rich collection with 133 items (84 pieces and 49 photographs) that tells the story of the railroad Vitória - Minas.
Prainha´s City (little beach) It is an important historical center, which tells the story of the estate, It is also important because at this location arrived the first boat coming from Portugal. It is the place where began the colonization of the Espirito Santo.
The “ Nosssa senhora do Rosario” Church is the oldest of the state and the fourth oldest church in the country, it was built in 1551. The facade was rebuilt in the eighteenth century, and shows the crest of Portugal.
