Lullalee, Literacy for Children and Shriners Hospital for Children are promoting the 5th Annual CAR-NI-FAIR. A Magical Literacy Experience for Children with Illness and Inner City Children. More than 2,000 children will attend this day of free books, storytelling, music and entertainment. CAR-NI-FAIR would like to introduce "THE RHYMATIST" a superhero and performer for children. "THE RHYMATIST" and his Friends will excite, entertain and interact with children as they perform their new album songs such as ABC\'s, The Counting Song, Don\'t Talk to Strangers and the Magic Circus."The Rhymatist is seeking sponsorship funding and a financial partner for this award winning performer.

Great message songs like; “Don’t Talk to Strangers” and “Safety First”, along with learning songs like “The Counting Song” and “ABC’s” make TheRhymatist show both an exciting and entertaining experience for the whole family.  For those kids too old for Barney and too young for main stream Hip-Hop, there’s The Rhymatist! – Variety<br />The Rhymatist is a new Superhero for Children, with a demographic of 3 to 9 years of age. The fictional yet entertaining story behind The Rhymatist involves action, adventure, animal characters, spaceships and education. These stories will be created in a format of “Sesame Street” meets “Over the Hedge” meets “The Incredible’s”.<br />

  11. 11. © 2009 Lullalee Productions and Services<br />Lisa Dunn-Dern<br />Lisa Dunn-Dern is a children’s lifestyle expert, writer, author,television and radio personality, director of children’s theater, wife and mother.<br />These are highlights in a busy, multi-faceted career that takes her from the Westside of Los Angeles to the shores of Martha’s Vineyard and even to the skies as she works toward earning her private pilot’s license.<br /><br />

It is often the first time that the child spends a significant amount of time away from his or her parents. It also symbolizes an emotional milestone for parents-- that a child is no longer a baby. Pamela Anderson of Watch Me Grow Kids Publishing wrote a book that will help ensure a smooth transition for both parent and child. Featuring wide-eyed happy children and vibrant colors, My New School is not only a fun book to read, it is also a teaching tool for parents and a learning tool for children as they prepare for the first day of preschool. <br />
  13. 13. © 2009 Lullalee Productions and Services<br />Author: Merrily Kutner<br />long time member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, she gave a workshop on writing in rhyme at the author’s retreat held in Palm Springs.  She participates in numerous author festivals and does school visits throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County School Districts, where she reads her books and works in progress.  She has instructed elementary school children in creative writing in the Time for Kids program; and judged literature contests at elementary schools.
