  • 3. Brief History Pre-2010 – CARL IT North and South  North and South combined in early 2010  IG seemed to go on “hiatus” CARL-IT IG restarted in March 2012 Re-started CARL IT sites and social media channels IG luncheon was useful kickoff point
  • 4. Current Efforts Find more members! Find more presenters! Plan for activity at CARL Conference 2014
  • 5. Development of On-Air Once a month meetings 20-30 minutes in duration with time for discussion Target audience size of 10 attendees or more; not aiming for very large groups Somewhat informal presentations on technology-related topics Use as a means of building relationships and discovering common interests Protect privacy / avoid needing to gain permission Presenters encouraged to:  Discuss technology topic or tool from their work, research, interests  Re-use existing presentation materials  Use some type of online presentation application
