  3. 3. Carbonic Acid <ul>This is a picture of chemical weathering with carbonic acid. Carbonic acid is a substance that forms when carbon dioxide combines with rain water. </ul>

  5. 5. Exfoliation <ul>This is a picture of exfoliation. Exfoliation is weathering that causes layers of rock to peel off like an onion. </ul>
