  • 1. Behavior Change in FATA Positive behavior change is an integral part of reforms agenda for FATA. Specialized persons are required for the constructive mindset change for a period of one or two years. World Bank and FATA Reforms Commission are seeking individuals to foster behavior change and public relations in seven tribal agencies. Behavior change communication is not identical to mass media communication. Tribal people are dissatisfied and disgruntled with callous attitude of establishment. Advertising and journalism professionals can settle down if handsome salaries and perks are offered. They will interact with people throughout the year to eliminate Polio. It will create confidence in investors, business community and youth of tribal areas. As sensible pro-progress citizens, advertising and media professionals should not hesitate to temporarily shift for one year in FATA. International Relief and Development, UNDP and CDKN must chalk out a comprehensive plan for bringing effective change. Consultation process must start sans delay.
