China and India are two largest
consumer-base countries in Asia.
These have made mark in solar
energy and organic chemistry
respectively. Economic integration is
essential for social inclusion,
knowledge economy, sustained GDP
growth and climate change.
Pakistan is quite a small economy as
compare to twin economic giants.
Government of Pakistan is aware of
ground realities thus has set up a
Regional Economic Integration Cell
to tap the benefits. Pakistan has
already free trade agreements with
both the countries. As a short run
strategy, Pakistan will tap benefits
from China-Pakistan Economic
Corridor (Kashgar to Gawadar). Land
Port Authority will see the horizon
by end of December 2014.
