  17. 17. About The Organizer, AMPII Association Marocaine Pour la Promotion de l’Ingénierie Informatique www.amp2i.org Maroc StartUp Cup is organized by AMPII. Vision AMPII vision and commitment is to build a vibrant entrepreneurial community in Morocco. Our ambition is to continue to build connectivity between startups and technology, create critical mass and exposure and help develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Projets de l’AMPII Since its creation in 2011, the association has been able to boost the growth of the community of young entrepreneurs and creating and exploiting synergies between the different actors of the entrepreneurial ecosystem by organizing many competitions, events and initiatives: Some Projects (Completed) : Startup Weekend – 2011-2013 Code Initiative – 2012 Mix N’Mentor - 2013 Startup Weekend is a competition to create a startup in 54h. Nine (9) Events, 5 Cities, +1000 participants from all Morocco, and at least 8 startups created. Code Initiative was the first (Moroccan) programming contest in Morocco to promote IT innovation. + 2000 participants to win a prize of 100 000 MAD. 1st edition of Mix N mento Casablanca coorganised with Wamda,. The event brought over 80 entrepreneurs and mentors together for a cozy discussion of the major challenges in the ecosystem.
