    • Nature or Nurture Debates concerns the relative importance of an individuals innate qualities The phrase "Nature versus nurture" in its modern sense was coined in discussion of the influence of heredity and environment on social advancement This debate within psychology is concerned with the extent to which particular aspects of behaviour are a product of either inherited (genetic) or acquired characteristics. “ Some scientists think that people behave as they do according to genetic predispositions or even "animal instincts." This is known as the "nature" theory of human behaviour. Other scientists believe that people think and behave in certain ways because they are taught to do so. This is known as the "nurture’’ http://genealogy.about.com/cs/geneticgenealogy/a/nature_nurture.htm

    • Attitudes towardsHomosexuality  In debating sexual orientation, much is unknown; according to Charles Darwin, "...we do not even in the least know the final cause of sexuality. The whole subject is hidden in darkness."  Biological theorists have found substantial instances of anatomical, genetic, and endocrine evidence to support their argument. Experiments in biological research date back as far as the late 1930s, beginning with the pioneering research of Alfred Kinsey on human sexuality.
    • Does media have an impact towardsHomosexuality? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icIwKaci3M This is an example of the portrayal and the stereotype of gay in the Cartoon The Simpsons.
