Intrigued by the role of media, it's influence and impact on our daily lives I spent the first 15 years (1983 to 1998) of my career in sales, marketing and circulation management in the newspaper industry. This path eventually led to the launch my first web project in 1997 and phase II of my career. After earning a Certificate in Internet Marketing from the University of British Columbia in 1998 I founded search and analytic consultancy NetSetGo Marketing Ltd (1999 - 2010) and served on the first board of directors of the International Internet Marketing Association 1999 - 2003.
