With over 1,000 workers per day on the project when it was at its highestpoint required a considerable amount of oversight. There is also a considerable amount of staff at the Metropolitan Pier and ExpositionAuthority in addition to the Development Department with whom we dealt with directly.d’Escoto, Inc. had to interface with all of these groups, in addition to the contractors, since construction of the West Building affected the other existing buildings and wouldhave impacts on any shows taking place. A great deal of coordination allowed thisproject to finish on time and within budget for the building’s scheduled trade shows.
