      • Southwest Adolescent Trainers (SWAT) Program
        • Target Population
        • 150 Latino youth ages 12 to 19 that are residents of Southwest Detroit. The adolescents that this project targets are active members of gangs or involved in high-risk behaviors such as drug use/abuse and/or sales, teen pregnancy, truancy, dropped out from school, or are involved with the Michigan Department of Corrections.

      • This program targets the following high-risk populations: MSM, IDU’s and HRH. Included in the target population will be sub-populations of Latinos, new immigrants, gang members, individuals transitioning out of prison, and substance abusers who reside primarily in Southwest Detroit.
