  • 2. Lesson Plan <ul><li>Goal : Students will understand how to introduce their interests and try make a short composition about their interests. (about 50-70 words ) </li></ul><ul><li>Objectives : 1. Be able to use “Five sentence patterns” (5 大句型 ) to make simple sentence . 2. Use simple sentences to describe things . 3. Organize sentences to make a short article . </li></ul>
  • 3. Lesson Plan <ul><li>The age of students: 11 years old ( the sixth grade ) </li></ul><ul><li>Numbers of students: 15 </li></ul><ul><li>Students level: Basic . They have learned English for 3 years . </li></ul><ul><li>Time: 80 min. (40 minutes for each period) </li></ul><ul><li>Material and Equipments: computers, projector, Internet. </li></ul><ul><li>Each students has their own blogs. </li></ul>
  • 4. Lesson Plan <ul><li>Procedures : warm up (10 min.) A teacher asks students “ What do you like to do in you free time ?” </li></ul><ul><li>If students can not get the point, the teacher explains more specifically and ask the volunteer. Ex: if there is no homework, no reading and no writing today, what do you want to do? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Ss can say their ideas in English and Chinese. T praises Ss’ ideas. </li></ul></ul>
  • 5. Lesson Plan <ul><li>Procedures : presentation (20 min.) (1) The teacher show the pictures about interests. </li></ul>(4) Then, the teacher gives students handouts (matching worksheet). Ask Ss to finish the worksheet to make sure they can recognize all the words. (3) The teacher explains the vocabulary and expression. (2) The teacher reads aloud the vocabulary and Ss repeat after the teacher.

The teacher asks Ss their ideas of each question and guide them to type th ei r own ideas with the question on th ei r blog.

  • 13. Lesson Plan <ul><li>Procedures: Assignment (4 min.) </li></ul><ul><li>The teacher will give students comments on blog. ( can use Chinese) </li></ul><ul><li>If possible, students try to revise th ei r articles at home after reading the teacher’s comment. </li></ul><ul><li>The teacher asks students to read th ei r classmates’ blog and will ask them the content next class. </li></ul>
