    • 20-min Error-Correcting Activities
    • Assignment.
  • 3. Requirements
    • Participants : 20 at most who have learned about 8,000 words or more.
    • Passing the GEPT intermediate level
    • Being divided into 5 groups.
    • Duration time per class : 50 mins.
    • Course period : 3 months
  • 4. Requirements for Teachers
    • Quick treatment on students’ spoken errors
    • Clear and correct pronunciation
  • 5. Objectives
    • Being able to speak with fluency and with accuracy
    • Being able to give a delivery impromptu in a conference or seminar
    • Being able not to sound bookish
  • 6. Evaluation
    • Participation 15%
    • Collaboration 15%
    • Fluency (40%) based on use quickly, confidently, with few hesitations or unnatural pauses , false starts , word searches , etc.
    • Accuracy (20%) like word pronunciation , grammatical errors , improper intonation and of course, wrong answers
    • Assignment 10%

    • 10 cards with various situations for each> peer evaluation, 1~5 points

    • 4 landlords with 4 various apartments

  • 10. Rental Contract
    • Setting the rental contract
    • 1. It shall be for a minimum period of 3 months, from Dec. 10, 2008 to March 9, 2009 .
    • 2. Lessee promise to pay the sum of $12,000 , payable in 3 monthly installments of $4,000 each month with payment to be made on the first of each month. The first payment including 1-month deposit shall be $8,000 , Dec. 10 . All payments to be made to Landlord in care of the post office .
    • 3. Lessee shall notify Landlord of any absence from the apartment more than seven (7) days .
  • 11. Error-Correcting Activities ( Transaction Speech 20% )
    • A film on “ Judge vs. Defence 1 ” , “ Judge vs. Defence 2 ”
    • The judge vs. the defense
    • A pen and a board for Teacher
    • 15 secs. for each round of Q & A
    • Criteria to proceed the activity : 1 . Asking for clarification , repetition , or explanation .(5%) 2 . Correct as many errors as you can.(3%) 3 . Errors like word pronunciation , grammatical errors, improper intonation and of course, wrong answers .(3% each)

    • Making a speech on an article related to a traffic accident and then post it onto YouTube and what you do to handle the situation.
