Don’t add too much detail into your powerpoint that you will confuse your audience on what they are seeing
Don’t fill your slides with text because either your audience will read the text and not focus on you, or you will bore them so much that they will not pay attention
Photos with special effects will cause the audience to be confused
Use photos that have detail and will interest the audience’s eye
Powerpoint templates are used by many presenters so they are boring to audiences
Use proper charts with the right data, don’t confuse charts and data because it won’t make sense to the audience or yourself
Certain colors should be used depending on the background of the room, and situation you are presenting on.
Sans serif should be used, serif is more for essays and sans serif will capture the audience’s eye more
Using photos and/or videos will cause the audience to not be so bored with text and you talking
Make sure your order of slides makes sense, you don’t want to jump around from unrelated topics, it will confuse the audience
