  • 8.  Mr Nathaniel Hawthorne works can not be compared to many other artists  The themes however can be compared to many situations such as Scarlet Letter how that dealt with forbidden love, hidden desires, guilt eating away at people, revenge hurting people  “With his contemporary Edgar Allen Poe, Hawthorne transformed the American short story from popular magazine filler into a major literary form (Backpack Literature.)
  • 9. Mr. Nathaniel Hawthorne was an brilliant and ambitious artist. I like the fact that he did not let the rejections of early work stop him from writing. If it had not been for him writing The Scarlet Letter I would have never known about Puritan society and the laws of the early times. The work of the artist is still widely used for the themes he had in his works, much of the literary devices, drama and subjects that we can still appeal to today. I would like to believe that God has a plan for each and every one of us and we will not leave that world until we have accomplished what God wants for us. I know that many times we fall off track in life or things that go the way that we want to but as long as we got God guiding us he will help us discover the right path.
