The Embraer Legacy 500 and the smaller Legacy 450 variant are mid-sized business jets which began development in 2007. Embraer started development from the ground up with a totally new design.

The System
Acra KAM-500 Data Acquisition equipment was used in an Ethernet system. It was able to handle faster data rates to enable the removal of separate dedicated systems such as avionic bus recorders and engine monitoring units.
