Gone!• Good morning children.• I’m going to tell you a little story today.• But first I have a few questions.• Do you know how to remove sin?• Do you know where sins go?
Gone! Story• "Hello, Arthur, What are you doing?"• "Digging a grave."• "Digging a grave? Whos dead? Bowser?"• "Not for your life, worse than that."• "Did your old cat die?
Gone!• "Worse than that too, Mary Jane, and I want you to go away and let me bury my dead myself.• Im ashamed of them."• But Mary Jane was one of those children who was very curious.• She sat still and thought she would wait and see whom he put in the grave.• Deeper and deeper Arthur dug until he had a hole two feet deep.
Gone!• Then he sat down by his solemn looking grave, drew a paper out of his pocket, opened it and began to read what seemed to be a long list of something, while tears ran down his cheeks.• Mary Jane could stand it no longer.
Gone!• "Arthur, whatever is the matter with you?• Are you going daffy?• What are you crying about?• Id like to know! Let me see that list."• And in spite of all Arthurs efforts she got it away from him, and she read: Sins That Must Be Buried.
Gone!• Mary Jane was dumfounded.• "Arthur, whatever are you thinking about, burying this list of sins?• Why theyre in you, boy, and to get them buried for keeps, youll have to bury yourself."• Arthur looked up through his tears.
Gone!• "Bury myself?• Mary Jane, why its you that going daffy, not me!"• "Well, Arthur, its all right to bury them, but not in dirt."• "Well, where can I bury them, so Ill never find them again?”• "Well, Ill tell you," said Mary Jane. "Mother told me.• God will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.
Gone!• The reason God can forgive sin, Arthur is because the Lord Jesus died for our sins.• He bore our sins in His body on the tree.• When you receive Him as your Saviour, He takes away your sins."
