The Colony High School What does education need from technology?
The Colony High School The STaR Chart surveys teacher’s opinions of the technological progress of your campus. The survey will focus on four key areas: Teaching and Learning Educator Preparation and Development Leadership, Administration, & Instructional Support Infrastructure for Technology
The Colony High School The educator can rate these four key areas with levels of Progress. Early Tech Early tech instruction is teacher-centered and students rarely use software applications or tutorial software for drill and practice.
The Colony High School Developing Tech Developing tech is teacher-directed and students regularly use technology on an individual basis to access electronic information and develop communication and presentation projects.
The Colony High School Advanced Tech Advanced technology is teacher-facilitated and students work with peers and experts to evaluate information, analyze data and content in order to problem solve.
The Colony High School Target Tech Advanced technology the teacher serves as facilitator, mentor, and co-learner. Students have on-demand access to all appropriate technologies to complete activities that have been seamlessly integrated into all core content areas.
