Thank You! <ul><li>To all of you who attended Casino Night- it was a HUGE success </li></ul><ul><li>We are donating $5,000 to the Speech Language and Hearing Clinic as well as The Center For Children Who Stutter </li></ul><ul><li>Pictures can be found on our Picasa Web Album- the link with be provided via email and posted to our Facebook page! </li></ul>

  8. 8. GRADUATE SCHOOL <ul><ul><ul><li>GRE- Does the school require it? Or other tests? </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>GPA- Minimum requirements? </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Interview- Does the school require an interview? </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Letters of Recommendation- Note the number of letters the school requires (usually 3). Note if they are online or paper format. Write down mailing address and have envelopes addressed when given to the recommender. Note requirements of who can write the letters, usually two professors are required. ASK EARLY and BE PREPARED! </li></ul></ul></ul>

GRADUATE SCHOOL <ul><ul><ul><li>Experience- Work and volunteer information is asked in the application. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Letter of Intent- Write down the unique topic from the school website. Make it individualized to each school and answer the prompt. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Deadline- Know the deadline and get all application materials in well before! Check up with your schools because materials get lost!! </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Transcripts- Document the number that each school requires and write down the address they are to be sent. Put in transcript order early since there are a lot of requests at end of semester time. </li></ul></ul></ul>

California State Universities <ul><li>California State Universities- </li></ul><ul><ul><ul><li> Apply to the school through by end of November </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li> The program will have a separate application. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><li>*Check ASHA and school websites for updates, requirements and deadlines* </li></ul>

Colton Ave. Redlands, California 92374 </li></ul><ul><li>Fees : Pre-Registration Deadline--May 14, 2011 (After deadline, please register on-site) Registration Rates for CSHA Members/students: FREE CSHA Non-Members students: $10 **SLP/Paraprofessional who brings a student and/or family of a student who stutters will have their registration reduced by 50%. *No Charge for students & adults who stutter and their families. </li></ul>
