H2OIL Corporation Hayward, CA 94545 www.h2oil.com Liquid Nanotechnology Fuel and Oil Additives

History and Company Facts Incorporated October 1990 in Hayward, California. Minority owned small business. Research and development company using dynamic liquid nanotechnology to improve the combustion of gasoline and diesel fuel. Currently the world leader in this technology.

Company Products F2-21 Fuel Additives : EPA Registered : Bulk and Retail Use : Gasoline, Diesel, Aviation Fuel, Bio-diesel and Heavy Fuel Oil. F2-21 Oil Additives : EPA Registration : Not Required Use : Engine Crankcase Lubricating Oil

What is F2-21? F2-21 liquid nanotechnology can be used to make a fuel or an oil additive. F2-21 “dissolves” easily, producing billions of tiny micro-emulsified nano-clusters inside the fuel or the oil. These nano-clusters are physically, chemically or catalytically active, depending upon the stage of the engine combustion cycle.

F2-21 creates billions of tiny micro-emulsified nano-clusters in the fuel. During combustion, these nano-clusters explode inside larger atomized fuel droplets. This increases turbulence and produces more of the smaller sized fuel droplets. These smaller fuel droplets vaporize completely, leaving no unburned fuel residue. This gives more complete combustion, increasing power and improving fuel economy.

How Does F2-21 Work? Fuel injectors spray fuel into the combustion chamber. Regular atomization produces some large drops of fuel, which do not burn completely during combustion. Incomplete combustion increases harmful emissions and promotes buildup of combustion chamber deposits. These deposits act as thermal insulators, raising combustion temperatures and increasing NOx emissions. Combustion chamber deposits and incompletely burned fuel also contaminate the engine lubricating oil, which can reduce engine life.

This gives more complete combustion, increasing power and improving fuel economy.

F2-21 nano- cluster explosions help breakdown and disintegrate combustion chamber deposits as well as preventing future build-up. Engines with clean combustion chambers have improved thermal conductivity. They run cooler, generate significantly less NOx emissions, and can operate on lower octane fuels.

Cyclic Irregularity of a Typical Gasoline Engine at Idle Speed

How Can F2-21 Reduce Emissions? It is believed that no single technology can simultaneously reduce all regulated exhaust emissions. However, this is only true for engine technologies and F2-21 is a fuel technology. HC, CO and PM 10 emissions are produced by “slow burn” combustion cycles. NOx and knocking/pinging are produced by “fast burn” cycles. F2-21 exploding nano-clusters are able to regulate combustion by speeding up slow burn cycles and slowing down fast burn cycles. In this way, F2-21 reduces all tailpipe emissions.

What is F2-21? Dose ratio is 8,000:1 in fuel and 100:1 in oil. Non-flammable, flash point is over 140F (60C).

F2-21 is Easy to Use F2-21 can be used in both gasoline and diesel fuel (bulk and retail). F2-21 can be dosed at the loading rack of an oil terminal, at a bulk tank by the fuel distributor or even at a gas station by the general public. No infrastructure changes are needed. F2-21 requires no vehicle or engine modifications of any kind. F2-21 could easily reach over 90% of the total vehicle population within 30 to 60 days from its widespread introduction.

Will F2-21 Damage Engines? F2-21 has been sold worldwide for over 15 years. No vehicle damages reported. Vehicles using F2-21 have already safely traveled the equivalent of over 10 billion miles without experiencing any problems. H2OIL has always carried product liability insurance. So far there have been no claims of any kind against this policy.

Who Can Use F2-21? Any gas or diesel engine can use F2-21; including 2 and 4-stroke engines, trucks, automobiles, buses, tractors, locomotives, motorcycles, tugboats, pleasure craft, lawn mowers, agricultural equipment, stationary power generators and turbine jet engines. Even steam raising boilers and other open flame equipment can use F2-21.

F2-21 Primary Benefits Up to 10% Increased Power Up to 15% Improved Fuel Economy Up to 50% Lower Exhaust Emissions Cleaner Crankcase Lubricating Oil Ability to Use Lower Octane Gasoline

F2-21 Air Pollution Reduction Estimated average vehicle exhaust emission reductions when using F2-21: Fuel HC CO NOx PM 10 CO 2 Gasoline: 50% 50% 30% 40% 15% Diesel: 20% 15% 20% 40% 10% Results are typical and represent the statistical average over a large number of vehicles. Individual results for any specific vehicle are unpredictable.

F2-21 is Cost Effective One quart of F2-21 typically costs about $100 retail and treats 2,000 gallons of fuel. Treatment cost = 5 cents per gallon. Fuel costs about $2.50 per gallon. Saving 10% would be about 25 cents per gallon. Retail “cost-to-benefit” ratio would be 5:1. “ Break-even” fuel savings required = 2%.

F2-21 Worldwide Recognition United Nations rates F2-21 as the most cost effective way to reduce urban air pollution. Forbes Magazine selected F2-21 as one of the top 25 environmental technologies. Top retail fuel additive in Japan (for 7 years). Joint venture with the Chinese Government builds F2-21 production facility outside Beijing. Special Recognition in China After reviewing 13 years of formal test data, the China National EPA formally endorsed F2-21 and made the following comments: F2-21 has achieved many successful tests at all levels of the EPA and other government agencies within China. Energy Efficiency Control Center confirms F2-21 achieves significant improvements in engine fuel economy, power output and emission reductions.
