  • Who knows what the REALTOR Foundation’s mission is? Do a quick poll of the audience.Speaker to introduce him/herself as a representative of the Foundation and tell personal story of involvement in the Foundation.
  • Foundation began in 1984….current mission adopted in 2003. The mission was chosen specifically to represent the real estate industry.
  • Presenter to add a story of someone they know who has become homeless or specific details of 2 grant recipients. Pass out business cards as this slide is presented.

    The REALTOR® Foundation’s mission:
    To transition central Indiana individuals from homelessness or inadequate or unsafe housing to permanent solutions that will positively change their lives.
  • This family was homeless.
    Families make up 42 percent of the homeless population
    Who are the homeless?

    • Foreclosure

    The average age of the homeless in this country is nine; half of all children are under age five
    700 local families could be homeless due to domestic violence

    Personal disaster can affect anyone
