  2. 2. Description <ul><li>The female is bigger then the male.The male weighs about 8 to 9 pounds. The female bald eagle weighs about 10 to 14 pounds. The bald eagle is 34 to 43 inches long.They have snow white heads. The tail is white. The feathered part is brownish black.The feet are yellow. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Habitat <ul><li>The bald eagle lives everywhere except Antarctica. They like oceans,large rivers and lakes.They like to go in spruce tree nearby for nesting. They sleep at night and hunt during the day. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Reproduction <ul><li>The bald eagle lifespan is up to 39 years in the wild over 50 years in captivity. The female and male are called the same name which is the bald eagle. The way you can tell is by the size. The female is bigger then the male.The baby is called an eaglet. Female eagle can produce 1 and 3 egg per year. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Enemies <ul><li>The worst enemy is humans because they ruin there homes by cutting down trees and hunting them. Once they were nearly extinct, but have made a comeback. They are protected by the migratory bird treaty act and the bald and gold eagle protection act. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Razzle Dazzle <ul><li>They are 60 kind of bald eagles. They see 6to8 times better then you.An eagle can see a rabbit 2 miles away. A pair of bald eagles from Florida was credited for building deep and for meters wide and weighs 3 tons. </li></ul>
